TEXT
The project for the new Central Park and Plaza Building is based on an analysis of the conditions of the entire campus and its evolution over time, in sync with both the historic and contemporary components, while remaining open to its relationship with the future East Building. Each specific decision of the new project emerged gradually through a process of continuous verification of the relationships between the proposal, the existing structures, the future developments, and their final synergy.
The new building reinforces the cloister typology, highly appropriate for an institutional building within an urban and residential context.
